I can't believe that in a few days I will be leaving these cuties to head to Texas for a photography workshop. It will be hard to leave their sweet faces but I know I will love my time learning from the amazing Barb Uil of Jinky Art!
My sweet babies turned 2 on August 11th. We had a Very Hungry Caterpillar birthday party for them this past weekend. I can't believe how much they have grown!
Well, we moved again. Two moves in one year! This time we moved across the country to Perrysburg Ohio! We are busy unpacking and organizing everything. I have some photos to show later this week from a few sessions I had. For now, I leave you with a picture of what my house looks like :)
Last weekend we took a trip to San Fransisco. We had the best time in Alamo Square. I loved the Painted Ladies!

A few years back I was flipping through a design magazine in Borders and came across this add for a designer, Layla Grayce. That's when I fell in love with the name Layla. I thought it was beautiful, feminine and unique. On August 11, 2009 we named our baby girl Layla Rene.
I had fun perusing this website when I stumbled upon it the other day and going down memory lane. They have beautiful items. You can definitely find inspiration for designing your nursery :) 
Thanks to my husband's work we were able to explore another part of California. Lake Tahoe is beautiful. The bright white snow and crisp clear water along the lakes edge with snow capped mountains was breathtaking. Along with this gorgeous sunset captured on our way home.
