The Very Hungry Caterpillar

My sweet babies turned 2 on August 11th. We had a Very Hungry Caterpillar birthday party for them this past weekend. I can't believe how much they have grown!

Layla Grayce | inspiration

A few years back I was flipping through a design magazine in Borders and came across this add for a designer, Layla Grayce. That's when I fell in love with the name Layla. I thought it was beautiful, feminine and unique. On August 11, 2009 we named our baby girl Layla Rene.

I had fun perusing this website when I stumbled upon it the other day and going down memory lane. They have beautiful items. You can definitely find inspiration for designing your nursery :)

Mama Must Haves!

1. Coffee. Need I say more? :) Keurig is my favorite coffee maker! It's fast and I like having a choice every morning between regular coffee, blueberry coffee, pumpkin spice coffee or tea.

2. On the rare occasion I can relax, I enjoy indulging in a bubble bath with a French Kiss from Lush handmade cosmetics. It smells divine and there are oodles of bubbles!

3. There's nothing more comfortable than my lululemon Groove pants. They look great so I don't feel frumpy and I can crawl around on the floor with my babies. Love these!

4. Oh where, oh where, would I be without Stain, stain, go away from Babyganics? This stuff is amazing. I have been impressed with many of their products but this one is my favorite.

5. I don't have much time to make my self up but I always throw on my Origins liquid lip color in Really Rosey. It smells a little minty and this color is fantastic. Try it. I know you will love it!

6. With all the coffee I started drinking since becoming a mom, there's nothing better then the electric toothbrush to make your teeth look their best. I feel like I went to the dentist every time I use it.

7. When you are a busy mom, the slow cooker is your best friend. I love editing photos while smelling my dinner simmering away. I don't have a specific slow cooker to recommend, but I have come across a great blog for recipes. I got this cookbook for Christmas and can't wait to use it!

8. Sometimes you have to bring the spa to yourself. Mrs. Meyers Snicker-doodle Soy candle makes your house feel warm and inviting.

9. Diapers.com has made my life so much easier! Sometimes you can't make it out to the store but you need diapers or baby cereal. Free 1-2 day shipping and a nice looking website plus great customer service. I can't say enough good things about this company.

10. Last but certainly not least. My favorite item that I never leave the house without, my camera. Our babies are only tiny for a short time and we don't want to forget their pouty lips and tiny toes. Capture every moment!
